Please review all policies prior to registration.

ALL POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.SHARKS & MINNOWS SWIM SCHOOL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DO SO IN ORDER TO ENSURE PROGRAM EFFICIENCY AND ACCURACY.

Tuition Payment
Tuition is due in full at the time of registration. Students will not be officially registered until tuition is paid in full.

Cancellations and Refunds
The registration fee is non-refundable. Full refunds (less the registration fee) will be given to parents who cancel the entire swim session via phone at least 72 hours prior to the first class of the session. No refunds will be issued for any classes after 72 hours prior to the first scheduled class of the session. We do not refund for missed classes for any reason.

Transfers
Any changes to your session must be done 72 hours prior to the start date of the session, or a transfer fee equal to $20 plus the cost for each group lesson conducted in the initial session (regardless of attendance) will be assessed. If you wish to transfer your child to a different location within the same session, you must contact the office prior to the third class of the session. There will be no charge for transferring to another class within the same session. The office can only fulfill the request if there is space available in the desired location. Due to the limited availability of classes, a transfer will likely require a change of time.

Missed Classes
Sharks & Minnows does not offer “make-up” classes, credits, or refunds for classes in session that have been missed. The only exceptions would be in the event that an Instructor cancels a class. In such a case, the Instructor will reschedule the class.

Tardiness
If a participant is late, they may join the class for the remainder of the lesson. In this case, missed class time cannot be made up. There are no refunds for missed class time due to tardiness.

Bad Weather
Please show up to class regardless of the weather. Only the Instructor has the authority to cancel a class. In the event of bad weather, the Instructor will make a decision whether to cancel a class at the time of the class. If the Instructor cancels a class, that class will be rescheduled. Classes are still taught in light rain. If there is thunder or lightning in the area, or if the rain becomes too heavy to safely conduct class, the Instructor will conduct the Safety Day portion of the curriculum in a location outside of the pool and away from the elements. It is best to assume that classes are on as scheduled unless you receive a call from the office or the instructor stating otherwise.

Minimum Enrollment
There is a minimum enrollment requirement of 3 students in order to conduct a group session. Sharks & Minnows reserves the right to cancel a class due to low attendance. In the event, students already enrolled in the class will be rescheduled into the next available time slot or session, and parents will be duly notified. A full refund will be issued if another class in not rescheduled.

Instructor Requests
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to honor requests for specific instructors. Sharks & Minnows reserves the right to change instructors and/or reassign an instructor to a different location at any time.

Attire
It is mandatory for all children under the age of 3 to wear a reusable swimming diaper.

Parental Supervision
To ensure the safety of your child, all participants are to observe the rules of the pool at all times. Please do not allow your child to enter the pool until class starts. Students must exit the pool upon the conclusion of class.
